Devised by Charlerooms, this teambuilding activity will immerse your employees in an incredible story set in 1967 to claim an inheritance.

The concept

Your employees are taken back to 1967. They have just 60 minutes to claim back their inheritance from the safe of a lawyer, Maître Hembise.

  • From 2 to 12 players
  • 1 or 2 teams simultaneously

The plot

In 1967, Charles Darrow invented the famous board game of Monopoly. He gets his lawyer, Hembise, to patent it, but a group of young people claim there has been an outrageous theft. They say their great-great-aunt, Elizabeth Maggie Phillips, is the person who created the game, and no-one else. The young heirs are going to have to get their thinking caps on and work as a team if they are to succeed in opening the safe belonging to the shadiest lawyer in Charleroi and claim their inheritance.

The organiser

Charlerooms organises and leads indoor and outdoor escape games and bespoke incentive events. Take a look too at Kalikazan, an original escape game where the players, working entirely in the dark, have to prevent environmental disaster.

Le Cabinet de Maître Hembise: a trip back in time, based on an unusual concept, ideal for a teambuilding day in Charleroi.
